Furniture Storage |
If you’re like us, you probably have some antique furniture from your parents or grandparents, are saving some furniture for when your kids go to college, or simply don’t have enough room in your home for all of the items that you’ve collected through the years. Long-term or temporary furniture storage at Bonita Storage Inn is a great way to protect your furniture that is in transition. You can feel as though your furniture is in a safe environment, away from the extreme temperature and humidity, at its home away from home in our climate controlled units. In our climate controlled units the heat and humidity will not warp your wooden or antique items, the moisture will neither penetrate nor generate mold in the furniture saved for your children’s college experience, and the climate controlled units will protect your furniture that you are holding onto for future use. |
Protect Your Furniture |
Should you store your furniture with a lot of other items from the move, we do suggest using a chair cover, sofa cover, drop cloth, or mattress bag in conjunction with a climate controlled unit to protect your furniture, boxes, artificial plants, lamps, etc. during the move. Stacking dressers or night stands on top of each other saves space. We have Paper Pads and cardboard sheets you can place between these items to protect them from getting scratched. Wrapping dressers and cabinets with stretch wrap will keep the drawers and doors from opening and getting damaged while you are moving. |
Make the Most of your Furniture Storage
|
When you move your furniture into your unit, we would be more than happy to spend some time with you helping you plan the best way to pack your unit. It is not always necessary to take up all of the valuable floor space in your storage unit with your large furniture items. Many times, it is possible to store a large sofa on end since our units have at least 8 foot and some 10 foot ceilings. We do not recommend putting sleeper sofas on end as the frame may be too heavy and cause damage. Please be sure to call or ask us to come take a look at your unit for any suggestions to maximize your storage abilities in your unit. |
