Hurricane Resistant Buildings

You can feel certain that your belongings will come to no harm on our elevated property with excellent drainage, and buildings that were built to the new building codes after Hurricane Andrew. If you would like to increase that feeling of security, we also have a three story building that was built in 2003. Many of our tenants like the security of having their items elevated more than the property already is.  You have to drive up a small hill from W. Terry Street or the neighboring shopping plaza to get to our property. The buildings have concrete and steel construction. Each building has a standing-seam metal roof. This results in no exposed roof penetrations to minimize any chance of leakage.

What to Store

Maybe you fall into one of these several reasons that people store with us during Hurricane Season.  Hurricane Storage frequently falls under one of the following three categories; some people do not have enough storage space for their patio or lanai furniture and do not want their items they typically store outside to become projectiles, some want to clear out a safe and secure room in their home just in case a hurricane comes through, and the biggest reason is that people generally want to secure their valuables should SWFL suffer a direct hit.  People living in mobile homes often store items that are difficult to replace should their home be damaged by a hurricane.

Hurricane Survival Plan
