You will want a facility that has controlled access. All parties coming on the property must enter a secret pass code, electronically matched to their self storage unit. Only those who have been approved in advance, to rent at our self storage facility, will have access to the self storage property. Many areas have multiple controlled access points, one to get you on the property and one to get you access to a particular area within the property. Padlocks provide for a starting point to secure your self storage unit, however controlled access provides for a higher level of security for the items you store.

Computer Control and Alarms

Our state of the art integrated computer system monitors and controls access to our self storage property. Each rental customer, when approved for rental, will get a secret pass code that identifies them specifically to allow them access to the property. Once the pass code is entered into the key pad at the entry gate, the gate will open and allow vehicle access to the property. This code will simultaneously disarm the alarm tied directly to your individual storage unit. Only people who store with us have access to the property, but only you will have access to your individual self storage unit. An alarm will detect any unauthorized entry to your individual storage unit and initiate a call to the property owner who will personally call the police and/or visit the property to investigate the cause of the alarm.

Your Own Padlock

Each Tenant will need a padlock for the basic level of security. You may bring a lock from home or you may purchase one from our office. Our wide varieties of locks are reasonably priced for your convenience. You keep the key, you are the only one who will have access to your unit. Some Tenants will arrange to leave a key in our possession so we can coordinate acceptance of deliveries and shipments.

Multi-Story Additional Security

Our multi-story building provides additional security for people who store belongings on the second and third floors. To access the second or third floor levels a Customer will need to enter their secret pass code into the key pad in one of our two over sized freight elevators. Our integrated computer system linked to the elevator will only allow approved customers onto designated floors.
