Wardrobe boxes are one of the easiest boxes to use. They are much easier than trying to drag your clothes out to the car and laying them on the back seat. A quick stop at a traffic light and they can slide onto the floor in a tangled mess. With a wardrobe box you can leave your clothes right on the hangers. Just move them from the closet to the hanger in the wardrobe box. When you get to your new location you can move them from the wardrobe box back into your new closet. They are great for storage of seasonal items to make more room in your closet. These boxes are also perfect for storing large quantities of light items like pillows, comforters and blankets. We have seen wardrobe boxes used to store gift wrap tubes and building blue prints. The tall wardrobe boxes can be stacked two high in storage like a double decked closet. The short wardrobe boxes can be stacked three high like a triple decked closet. All of our wardrobe boxes include the hanging bar. Our wardrobe boxes have higher Edge Crush tests. This allows them to handle the extra weight of clothing and allows for stacking with less concern about the box crushing.

How Many Do I Need?

It is easy to figure out how many you need. Measure the number of feet your clothes take in your closet. Then purchase that many feet of wardrobe boxes. We have boxes that are 1.5 feet wide and 2 feet wide to give you more flexibility.

What Size Do I Need?

What size you need is determined by what you will be packing. The short size is great for blouses, shirts, suits, pants and jackets. Longer hanging items like dresses work best in the taller box. When you hang shorter items in the tall box, you will have extra space at the top and/or bottom. You can use this area for shoes, handbags, sweaters and other items from your closet.

18" Wardrobe Boxes

18" Wardrobe Boxes are 18" x 21" x 47" with a hanging bar. The front of the box folds down for easy loading and unloading. This box comes preprinted with a label on the side of the box. Just check off which room it goes to. That makes it so much easier when you get to your new location or to find something while it is in storage. There is also a space on the label for contents and other things to help keep you organized. The box also is preprinted with “Handle With Care” and “This Side Up” and “Wardrobe” as well as Up Arrows. The Edge Crush test is 51 lbs/in. Size Limit 105 inches. Gross weight limit 120 lbs. 

24" Wardrobe Boxes

24" Short Wardrobe Boxes

24" Short Wardrobe Boxes are 24" x 20" x 34" with a hanging bar. The front of the box folds down for easy loading and unloading. The box is preprinted with a label to mark which room the box should go to and space to note the contents and other information.
