Wrapping Paper for Moving and Storage
|
Wrapping Paper, sometimes know as packing paper for moving, is great for wrapping dishes and fragile items. Crumpled wrapping paper is also a cost effective way to fill the voids in your boxes. Voids that allow your items to move while in transit are the biggest cause of damage to the boxed items. Wrapping paper is thinner and takes up less room than bubble wrap® when your items don't need the extra protection of bubble wrap®. Wrapping paper can also protect the surfaces of your items to keep them from rubbing together. Our wrapping paper is the same type used by professional packers, it comes in large white sheets in a 10 lb box. |
Dish and Glass Packing |
Put down a layer of crumpled paper in your box to provide cushioning before putting your dishes or glasses into the box. A six inch thick bed of wrapping paper will help with shock absorption and is inexpensive to create. Wrapping your glasses and dishes with wrapping paper before putting them in the box gives them some cushioning protection. Crumpled pieces of wrapping paper can be stuffed inside glasses. Pack your heaviest and sturdiest items in the bottom of the box. Put lighter more fragile items on the top. Add more crumpled wrapping paper to the top of the box for added shock absorption. The clean white wrapping paper will prevent the transfer of ink to your items that can happen if you use old newspapers. |
